No, Lily, I still have it in Netflix queue, not sure I myself would appreciate its style, but I'll give it a try.

Saw "Pirate Radio" - did they really have the arrogance to ban rock and roll in England - I can't believe it! Good movie, wonderful cast - every character has a quirk! and lots of great songs.

Saw "Win-Win" for Giamatti, after watching him in "Barney's Version", and yes, his acting was OK, but what a discovery was an actor who played a young wrestler's part, a real gem. His name is Alex Shaffer, I hope he'll get noticed - he deserves it.

I have directv cinema, you actually get movies before Netflix or the redbox... The best movie I have seen this year, and that was "The Help" I know everyone says the book was much better, but the way they directed that movie and how to me it told two stories in one was very good. I see a nod for the Oscar with that movie.

Anyways, Flower, I got the 100 words, cut out the oil bubble - it's too predictable a reference, as to the whole - cute, but you could go for something sharper a little.

Finished a novel "Talk Funny Girl" - not bad, religious twist on child abuse, made me think about "Martha, Marcy", etc, that movie everyone's talking about. Looks like one of Olsen girls can act, not just starve herself or sell merchandise.

Lily, you got a good deal with this directv cinema, is that part of Direct TV?

Yes, the movies come out before Netflix, I canceled my Netflix, they become a lil greedy I thought, so I have this and its great, got Keith Olbermann back , too..lol

@Sven: my best and worst critic! LOL! the only excuse i can use is i was trying to beat the same day deadline of 10/20 & keep in mind this is for Surfing magazine and the prize is either a pair of shoes or a tshirt so it wasn't exactly the Nobel Laureate (SP?) I was going for... lets face it the demographic of Surfing mag is mostly likely sexually frustrated angst ridden males from 12-30 with a couple of old farts like myself peppered in... so cute and predictable it is! LOL!
