some of the series that are on demand are ending soon. sex and the city ends on 11/25. i dont know how many shows there were of that series, so i dont know if hbo is gonna add anymore of sex and the city to on demand. anyway hbo does rotate their series and a few will end on 12/9. so maybe we will see jfc after 12/9. we will just have to wait until then. (with our fingers crossed of course.)

I had a great deal of problems with links on myspace also.  The two alternatives I can give you are:
Of course they wont be able to click the graph but they can copy the address to their browser.

Thanks for helping with the advertising of the survey Tammy!  You're a doll.

Yes, please let everyone in your household take the survey.  If for some reason they can't because the survey is set to allow each person to take it only once, you may have to create a separate logon/profile for them on your computer so they have different settings from yours.  Then the survey will allow them to take it.

And chat, would you send me an email with a request for the results so I can keep everything in one place?  admin@johnfromcincinnati.net

The link may not work because of your browser so I have added a manual way to send an email to admin@johnfromcincinnati.net with a subject line "Send me Comprehensive Survey Results"

On the question you identified there is an answer for only watched after the premiere.  Sorry if that was confusing for you.

SaveJFC Efforts / NEW Comprehensive Viewer Survey

http://survey.johnfromcincinnati.net/survey_viewer_login.html

This survey is designed to gather a better picture of 'John From Cincinnati' viewers and their opinions about the show and HBO.

We need this information to better articulate the case for continuing the show to HBO.

Whether you like the show or not, whether you believe it can be brought back or not, we would like to hear from you.

Also, please post the link to the survey everywhere you can think of!

Thanks!

Been there every day recently. Hope that replying to opinions gets JFC's numbers up and that HBO notices. Only worry is that there is some other reason why HBO dumped this show? It did have a lot of viewers.

HBO has stated that it was the cost of the program in relation to the number of viewers, not th enumber of viewers alone that led to the cancellation. For the per episode price of JfC they need a Sopranos sized hit which JfC wasn't (and isn't IMO) destined to be.

Hi

I would like to give you a little information on the site Hey!Nieslen.com and why I feel this is a very important site and issue.

"Hey!Nielsen.com" is an online counter-part to the "Official Nielsen Media Measurement" Sources.

Hey!Nieslen is also a sister site of: The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard Magazine, and BlogPulse.com.

I feel that Hey! Nielsen will be used in the future by all networks in order to get real time feedback from their viewers and or subscribers.

It is very important to add your opinion regarding John From Cincinnati once a day (in a 24 hr period)! When we fail to add opinions JFC's numbers
begin to drop dramatically! Case in point look at the graph; top center of John From Cincinnati page.

I will also type out the url in case you would like to copy and paste it to your site!

*http://www.heynielsen.com/view/john-from-cincinnati/

Image I will post JFC's H!N score daily on this forum as well as on the HBO boards (topic's/threads Our Endeavor & Episode 10)

If you have any questions regarding Hey! Nielsen please reply to this thread or send me a pm.

*I have the same user name, here, HBO and H!N.com!

It seems that it's the money that counts most with HBO.  I think we should do a one-two-(three? four?)-punch.  When the DVD comes out we (one) buy the DVD to show our love for JOHN and that we are willing to pay for it as we said in our Variety ad, and (two) cancel HBO the same day you buy the DVD.  Thus we are saying we will only pay if we get want we want.  This could be coordinated with, say, "bird seed" shipments and if we work with the Deadwood fans we would be a greater force to be reckoned with.

I don't have Corel Draw but see if this works...  The image you have is probably a .jpg or .gif.  Try to "save as.." a ".png" format first.  Then open the .png graphic and resize it.  You can actually do the whole thing in png and then when you have it the way you want it, save it a last time in .jpg and upload that to use online.  Png is a format that does a very good job in "keeping it's shape" when resizing.

Also, if you want to link to another banner but don't want to use their link it's easy...  Right click the image and choose "Copy Image Location".  This will give you something like "http://www.site.com/graphic.jpg" then create an html image code with the Image Location you copied as its href.  It will end up looking like:

<img src=""http://www.site.com/graphic.jpg"" width="760" height="90" align="middle" border="1">

If you want to use this banner as a link to something of your choosing then you can wrap it with your own link which will look something like...

<a href="http://www.johnfromcincinnati.net" target="_blank" title="johnfromcincinnati.net">
<img src=""http://www.site.com/graphic.jpg"" width="760" height="90" align="middle" border="1">
</a>
